What exactly is it?
Aeromodelling is the process of building an Aircraft model, either as a replica of a real aircraft or a totally new design. The built model is fitted with an engine and a radio equipment kit (ready to take off) controlled by a Radio Control from the ground by the pilot. It is capable of performing manoeuvres and aerobatics at very low heights.
Am I capable of doing it?
A big 'YES', if you have the right aptitude and passionate towards speed, heights, etc. One need not be technically qualified to fly Radio Controlled(RC)aircraft. Ideally, one has to be 18 years old with keen interest to fly aeromodels. However, others can also pursue the hobby, but in a less wider scale.

TAAL conducts Aeromodelling classes with an affordable fee for beginners who are interested in learning from the scratch.
